The important thing to remember is, not to over feed them. If you over feed them you can pollute your tank. This can be quite frustrating to clean out your tank more often than usual. To get a feel for how much your fish eat, start with a small pinch and watch them eat. If they eat all the food very quickly and look for more, give them another smaller pinch than the first one. I usually feed my fish once per day, usually at night before bed . And I also try to feed them at the same time every night.
